FLOOR JANSEN - Paragon [BLACK LP]

Although I am a person who basically consumes metal and hardrock, I decided to buy this album backed by the sole fact that its author is who she is. It was like a leap of faith. And I was very surprised, and for the better. It's an incredible album, cohesive, and composed and arranged with great taste. It revolves mostly around the voice, which is what really shines, but with exquisite instrumentation. Themes with a more epic touch where Floor's powerful voice makes itself felt harmonize perfectly with other more intimate ones where the vocalist shows herself in a more subtle and emotional way and moves us. A very hard-working album, with great taste, and that transmits. A safe purchase.
